Carter still wears pull-ups at night....because some mornings he wakes up "A little Sweaty"! So our friends had a whole package of pull-ups, the only problem.......they were pink! So after a little editing we made them ready for Carter....Yes, we had to draw some basketballs, footballs, baseballs, and soccer balls on them....Shockingly Carter was totally okay with them then!
Kody on the other hand was NOT okay with this whole idea...
Carter has been blessed/cursed with lots of hair. And not just any hair but thick, coarse, & full of calics. Another awesome feature is "The Horn" that grows right down his forehead. We have been trying to grow out Carter's usual BUZZ, so needless to say "The Horn" is growing out too. So the other night I tried to cut it off....
The plan is to grown it until Spring Break...we will see though...
I love Pig-Tails...Kate's hair is ALMOST long enough! My problem is she won't leave ANYTHING in. I thought my little girl would always have her hair done and look cute. It was my pet-pev when I saw little girls with hair in their eyes and messy. But once again, I am now THAT parent that has the "messy" little girl. NEVER SAY NEVER....grrr!
We have been working on animal sounds at our house...the favorite lately is the Monkey Noise...Here she is demonstrating it!
Kit Kat has the best hair, it is pretty thick and has curl with lots of body....
I am sure once she is 16 she will actually like having her hair done! Until then she will have constant Bed Head! Honestly!
Carter was able to have another "Man's Day" with Papa yesterday....needless to say he was in HEAVEN! One of Carter's & Papa's favorite store is Bass Pro Shop.
Everything from boats, to 4 wheelers, to guns, to camping gear....not to mention great burgers!
Carter gets a little braver every time and will get closer and closer to the animals!
After Bass Pro Shop they headed off to the Barrett-Jackson Car Show! Carter LoVeD it! Here were a few of his favorites! But once again Papa told him he would not buy him one....weird?
I asked Carter if he went and watched the auction and he said,
As I was tucking Carter into bed last night I said, "Carter you have a PRETTY awesome Papa." He looked at me and said, "NO I don't! I have a REALLY awesome Papa!"
Oh my little Kit Kat is something else...she goes from SO EXTREMELY GIRLY to Rough & Tough! This child will not keep her hair in for ANYTHING. I do it about 10 times a day because she looks CRAZY without it done, but it is pulled out moments later....so she looks like a RagMuffin most of the time! But go figure she will wear Carter's hats ALL day around the house!
She can quickly mix it up from footballs to teapots...Well Rounded, RIGHT?!
She kept that hat on ALL morning...She is getting so tall & has turned into quite the puppy, pulling food and anything else she can reach right off the table!

We took Carter to Disney On Ice last night with some friends....Carter & Caden are great friends and two peas-in-a-pod! I was asking them a if they were excited to see the princess's...

Carter loved everything from the candy to the music to the glow sticks...
Of course the boys quickly turned them into swords...
It really was pretty amazing...quite the production. Of course the highlight was The Cars part were they drove on the ice...Carter could also not get over the fact that it was at the Suns Arena...I think I heard "Where is the court? Where is Steve Nash?" about a million times!
This is why we live in the Valley of the Sun...January weather in the 70's!

I am in LOVE with my 14 month old! Kate really is at such a fun age...
She just turned it off, then when Carter started whining she turned it back on..such a tease!
Kate has the most ridiculous hair EVER! "The Reverse Mullet!" She pulls it out 17 times a day, so it is always in her face! It doesn't bug her at all but drives me CRAZY!
When she gets tired she says "NaNight" and blows kisses. And now that her hair is long enough she can play with her hair and suck her thumb at the same time...
Little Kit Kat has been so much fun! She is SO happy and playful. She loves everyone and everything and can make ANYONE smile.
So I pulled the ULTIMATE mom move....I swore I would never do it, because it is a little gross, but we were in a hurry..... and he had dried toothpaste on his face. So YUP I licked my thumb and tried to wipe off the crusty tooth paste...This picture really does say a million words!
