Love Mark...

Baby Kate is almost 3 weeks old...I can't believe it! We survived a whole week with my mom gone! I was am so lucky to have such a WONDERFUL mom! She truly is magic....she can keep both kids happy, the house clean, have dinner ready and still seem relaxed! She makes it all seem so easy. Hopefully one day I will be able to be half the mom she is! I love you mom...we miss you tons!
Baby Kate has come with a sweet, calm, relaxing personality....we hope that it stays. Along with being a wonderful baby she also came with a "love mark" on her forehead. Last week we took her the Children's Phoenix Hospital to see a dermatology specialist. They say it is still too early to determine what it is....but most likely she will have to have laser surgery starting around 4 months. They are pretty hopeful that by the time she is 1 1/2 that it should be gone.
I left feeling sad and sorry for little baby Kate....but as I walked through the waiting room at Children's Phoenix I gained some serious perspective.
I feel so blessed to have such a healthy, beautiful, happy little girl! We are so glad that she is in our family!

She can't wait to meet everyone....thank you, thank you for everything all of our friends and family have done! From bringing dinner, to taking Carter, to driving carpools! We are so blessed to have you in our lives!

Hot Phoenix Fireman....

Can you believe I got him in something else besides a sports guy?! AMAZING! I told him the only way he could get candy was if he wore is Fireman Costume...and it worked. Although I did feel bad for the little man considering it was still 90 degrees and he was in fleece! Mom of the year!
Only Firemen in Phoenix wear flip-flops....and no hat because it was TOO hot!

Trick-Or-Treating our cute little neighbor MaryJane...
Our friends hosted a Halloween party...it was great! They set up games for the kids and a tent in the backyard with a TV so the kids could watch a movie outside once they were done Trick-or-Treating! Here are a few of the moms....and yes my HUGE belly! Any day now! Hopefully!
Some of the kids...as you can see they are running out of the picture faster than we can snap pictures!
FINALLY Trick-Or-Treating...Carter thought it was great, until......
He got way too hot and tired! All the kids came home red faced and sweaty! ONLY IN ARIZONA! All Trick-or Treated out but still holding tight to the candy bucket!
Once we got back to our friends house Carter decided to take a nap...Are you Kidding Me?
Oh, he wanted to change immediately into his Steve Nash outfit!
Quite the end to a GREAT night!
