Christmas Eve Extravaganza...

I remember Christmas Eve Day being the longest day of the year as a little kid.....Well it needs to be in order to get everything packed in. First up, head across the Bay for a Christmas Eve Lunch with Great Grandparents, Cousins, & More...
Of course it would not be a proper Christmas Eve without the Nativity. Carter got the lead role of Joseph...there were tears at first, but he came around after a little "talking to" if you will.
Cute Great Grandma & Grandpa Taylor are amazing story tellers...
The one year olds LITERALLY FIGHTING over Grandma!
Sammie Lou was cast as Mary....She was PUMPED!
Just look at the excitement once Baby Jesus was born!
Most of the crew....the ones that did not run too fast.
The 10 and under table...
After more games, a talent show, some football and rocket launching it was time to head back home....There are always 2 houses that go ALL out with Christmas Lights...
I wish I could have completely captured it...It is INCREDIBLE!
There is not a square inch that is not covered with something....

Then off to House #2...No picture of this one....It has an incredible dancing light show that goes to music that is through a radio station that is about 15 mins long....
The boys had front row seats on top of the car.

The crazy boys....
Then it was home to the Eds....And Mrs. Claus came and brought some PJ's....Wahoo!
Ahhh the night that just keeps going....They don't look tired to me!
A classic shot...Carter with his crazy face and Kit Kat paying close attention.
Once the Jammies are on the night would just not be complete without a little Wrestle Mania with Uncle Porter.
Dog Pile on Carter!
Dog Pile on Porter...

The ladies minus Kit Kat

Finally time for Hot Chocolate and getting out food for Santa...
Then it was time for bed...Even after a long day it took Carter A LONG time to finally fall asleep! Ahhh Christmas Eve is the BEST!
