Love Mark Up Date...

Kate is 9 1/2 months and her "Love mark" (Hemangioma) is looking great! She is still on her blood pressure medication and will remain on that until she is one. We went into Children's Phoenix yesterday and 3 hours later was told that it is the BETTER then he originally thought it would look at this stage.  He seemed to be a little surprised himself at how well her skin is looking. He almost doubled the amount of medication dosage in hope to have it fade even quicker.  As for Kate she could care less about her "love mark" she is just happy getting into EVERYTHING!

I love these 2 pictures....I was trying to get one of both of them (YEAH RIGHT!) to take a picture together but Kate as now learned that she has to quickly defend herself when she sees Carter getting closer.  Notice the arm block!

As quickly as Carter was being nice he decided to give her a quick Head Butt for good measure! Since he has no hair Kate can now grab ears and hold on to protect herself ....all while still posing and looking at the camera! Ahhh little Kit Kat, gotta love her!

Cars...

Carter has found a new obsession, and we are strongly encouraging it....something other than bats & balls FINALLY! Over the past few months he has become crazy about the toy cars from the movie.  He plays with them all the time and knows all of their names and which ones are missing.  I have spent many hours looking for Mr. The King! But not to worry sport fans...he is still nuts about sports, hence the sweet Cards jersey he is wearing. Yes, he has been to preschool 6 times and I think he has worn it 3 times! Sweet

Although it contradicts everything that Carter is he is very COMPULSIVE and OCD about many things.  Here has lined up  all the race cars, he told me they have "mean" eyes?

I'm UP!

Cute LiTtLe Kit Kat is pulling herself up on everything, NOTHING is safe anymore! It has been so fun to watch her grow and learn new tricks, it is just a happening TOO fast!

This is my favorite (Ignore the wicked case of BedHead) I love when I go in and she is standing up and smiling, just singing on the top of her lungs for someone to come.  

I think secretly hoping it is not Carter! :)

Carter now calls her, "The Pretty  Miss Kit Kat!" 

I love it, it is fun to see how much they really do love each other!

1st Day of PreSchool!

Carter started his second year of PreSchool today! Yesterday he was so excited and could not settle down last night.  He was in bed at 8 and talked until 11:30! But he was up and ready to go at 8 am, we laid out and outfit the night before hoping we could talk him out of "the usuals"....we managed to talk him into wearing half of it to school!

He was very calm and docile this morning.....maybe the lack of 4 hours of sleep.

 I don't think that lasted for Miss Teddie though!

I could not believe he kept on the shorts....maybe there is hope!

These are last years first day of school pictures....he seemed a little more wound up last year!

As soon as we pulled up he said, "Alright see ya mom!" He did not even want me to come in.  Miss Teddie said he did a pretty good job today, although she said there were a "FEW CARTER MOMENTS!" We love Miss Teddie, maybe she will deciede to teach kindergarten in 2 years!

Here's to another year of learning and fun: 2 down only about 2o more!

How Long Until Tuesday?!

I don't know who is more excited for PreSchool to start up again Carter 0r Me! We went to the Meet The Teacher this morning at Teddie Bear Corner PreSchool and Carter was so excited.  He got out of the car and said, "K, See ya mom!" He was extremely disappointed when he realized I was coming and it was not a PreSchool day! 

Ready or not here he comes!

Yes he is sporting another RIDICULOUS jersey! I can't win! I have officially given up!

It's On!

Kate is officially on the MOVE! I have been meaning to make a post about this for the past few weeks...but better late then never.  She has been crawling for about a month and has now completely mastered the art of speed crawling. 

Things I have found in her mouth: 

grass, balls, cars, hair-balls, legos, shoes, old food on the floor....

good thing kids have good immune systems!

But my new FAVORITE move is her trying to sing at the top of her lungs to music and shake it.... it is quite the site!

It has been so fun watching her learning new things, she is just getting big TOO fast though!

Good Morning!

My little Kit Kat is into EVERYTHING! She has been on the move now for the past few weeks and now as Kody says: "IT'S ON!" She is into Carter's toys, her toys, laundry baskets, your name it. She thought she hit the ultimate JACKPOT the other morning when she found Carters yogurt smoothie left sitting on the carpet. Weird?! Anyways she managed so drink/dump the whole thing all over her and the carpet, then splash and play in it! Fun! 

Needless to say the chick is not lactose intolerant!

Just the start of MANY more fun messes to pick up! Gotta love it?

Livin in an OVEN!

So I saw this picture and I think it looks a bit like me: Tired, Hot, & Sweaty! I can't believe how stinkin hot it is.  Carter has come up with some new quotes for the summer:

"Mom it is TOO Smokin Hot to go out there!"

"No mom PLEASE don't get gas!" 

(Since he has figured out the car has to be turned off to get some.)

"Mom I am SUPER SWEATY!"

 (That one is his favorite he says constantly!)

Needless to say I am counting down the days when he can play outside for longer then 7 minutes, you don't worry about 3rd degree burns from the sun, your clothes are not constantly sticking to your body, and you can actually buy Popsicles during the day without worrying that they will be completely melted by the time you get home!

How many more months until NOVEMBER? 

Dirty Enough?

Flashlights, fires, dirt, more dirt, tents, nature potties, TREATS, & friends....it does not get much better.  This weekend we headed up towards Flagstaff for a little camping trip and it was a blast.  It was so nice to get out of the heat and actually wear sweatshirts and be in the trees! This is a face of a TRUE camper!

Tried to catch some fish....Brian was a VeRy patient teacher.

All the kids were in bed and we kept seeing this...

We went into Flagstaff and went to SugarBowl and rode up the ski lift...it was incredible!

Hard to believe that this is just 2 hours away from Phoenix!

Then for the grand finale, what Carter had been talking about the WHOLE time we where camping.....Cardinals Training Camp and open practice! It is crazy how HUGE those guys were!

He got in a little practice himself! Trying to catch the football being thrown to him.

It was so nice to get out of the 110 and enjoy some summer in Arizona.....

Anyone want to go camping next weekend!?
