Boating...

This weekend we went boating with some friends and left all the kids at home! It was so much fun! So nice to not have the kids and just relax and have fun tubing, wake surfing, and wake boarding! It was so great! We missed you Greene's & Ord's!

Cub vs. Cubs

Kody was on High Adventure last week and Carter kept saying he wanted to be a scout too. So I  told him when he turned 8 he got to be a CUB SCOUT.  He looked at me and said:

"No mom I don't want to be a CUBS SCOUT I want to be a DBACKS SCOUT!"

Too Much ClubHouse...

Carter's new thing at bedtime is to try to "read." He wants to say all the letters and their sounds.  So last night they were reading a book called:  

Who's Your Hero?

Carter went through all the letters in the title: 

W-H-O-S and then he got to the word H-E-R-O-Mouse-k-Tool!

What?!....He didn't know what the name was for a Question Mark, but it is always part of the of the Mystery Mouse-K-Tools on Mickey Mouse ClubHouse. 

Who says TV doesn't teach kids anything!

Park Night....

One of the few good things about summer in Phoenix is great weather at night to go to the park and $1.00 snow cones. I am not sure who is the biggest fan of snow cones: Kody, Carter or Kate!

NOT Going to Make IT!

Yes, on the way home from church yesterday Carter was screaming from the back seat, 

"Oh NO! I am not going to make it!"

So 2 minutes from home we have to pull-over! BOYS!

Kate's new mission is to see how many things she can fit in her mouth and how big....She now knows her thumb is NO problem, so she has moved on to other things!
